Terms and conditions Skischool Altura
1. Scope of Application
These Terms and Conditions (T&C) govern the contractual relationship between Skischule Altura (hereinafter referred to as "Ski School") and the customer for all courses and other sports-related services offered.
By booking any service, the customer expressly accepts these T&C.
2. Conclusion of Contract / Booking
Bookings can be made in person at the Ski School office, by phone, by e-mail or through other booking channels offered by the Ski School.
The booking becomes binding as soon as it has been confirmed by the Ski School. The Ski School reserves the right to reject bookings without stating reasons.
3. Payment Terms
The course fee must be paid in full prior to the start of the booked service, at the latest on the first day of the course before the start time.
Without payment, there is no entitlement to participate.
4. Cancellation by the Customer
Cancellations must be submitted in writing only (via e-mail or in person at the office).
- For cancellations made no later than 48 hours before the start of the course, the paid amount will be refunded minus an administrative fee of EUR 20.00.
- For cancellations made less than 48 hours before the course starts, for no-shows, or for early termination of the course, there is no entitlement to a refund.
According to applicable law, there is no right of withdrawal for online bookings.
5. Cancellation Due to Illness
In the case of illness or accident, a refund is only possible upon presentation of a medical certificate. The certificate must be issued by a doctor practicing in Italy and submitted to the Ski School without delay, and no later than within 5 days.
In such cases, the refund will be made minus the administrative fee of EUR 20.00.
6. Cancellation / Changes by the Ski School
The Ski School reserves the right to postpone or cancel courses for important reasons (e.g., force majeure, adverse weather conditions, insufficient number of participants, illness of instructors).
In such cases, the amount already paid will be fully refunded. Any further claims (e.g., compensation, travel expenses, accommodation costs) are excluded.
7. Liability
Participation in the courses is at the participant's own risk.
Skischule Altura accepts no liability for accidents occurring before, during, or after ski lessons.
8. Duties of Participants
Participants agree to:
- follow the instructions of the ski instructors,
- comply with applicable slope rules (FIS rules),
- possess adequate physical fitness,
- hold a valid ski pass,
- use appropriate equipment (helmet required in accordance with applicable laws).
The Ski School reserves the right to exclude participants from the course in cases of gross misconduct or danger to others. In such cases, no refund will be issued.
9. Insurance
Please note that every skier must have valid liability insurance covering damage to third parties (according to Art. 30 of Legislative Decree No. 40/2021). We also recommend that you take out private accident insurance and travel cancellation insurance. The Ski School assumes no liability for damages arising from lack of insurance coverage.
10. Data Protection
The processing of personal data is carried out exclusively in accordance with applicable data protection regulations (GDPR). Personal data will only be used for handling the booking and conducting the courses.
11. Jurisdiction and Applicable Law
Only Italian law shall apply. The place of jurisdiction, where legally permissible, is Bolzano (BZ).
12. Severability Clause
Should individual provisions of these T&C be or become wholly or partially invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.
